Correctness conditions:
1)
A latch cannot OPEN (read another data item) until the successor has captured the current one
2)
A latch cannot CLOSE (become opaque) before having captured the data item from its predecessor
NOTE: Feedback in C.L. requires two latches, as in conventional synchronous circuits!
